Okay so a new year passed and I was MIA for a while. From now on there will be daily posts and new pictures!! Whoo Hooo! Nuvo is hiring a blog person. I will throw my hat in the ring, but first we must beef up the blog. I will be around the next couple of weeks taking pictures of things around Indiana. Since I know this blog is so UNREAD, I am going to try to get some new readers. So look out or you may find your self on this blog!!

So there is this awesome book store in Broad Ripple I found! It is called Big Hat Books and Elizabeth Houghton Barden is the owner. As you browse the shelves you may notice that there are hats on the tops of the bookshelves. These are her inspirations for her store, though most were gifted to her after the store opened. She says every hat has a story, as does every book. So if you are looking for a great place to find your new book, check out Big Hat Books!

So on my way to work today I was listening to the radio. They had a guest on and as they were leaving they said they were on their way to rehab. Now, with my mind working the way it does, I started thinking that they should really change the name of some things. So they were referencing rehab as rehabilitation of an injury to his knee. Rehab could also mean this man has a server drug addiction that he is going to rid himself up at a rehabilitation center. So whey do we still use the same word for both situations. Yes in both cases you are in some form getting rehabilitated but we could still change the name. There is also therapy. Which in one case you are changing rehab for therapy? So you would go to your therapy appointment to strengthen your knee. You also would go to your therapy appointment to complain about your mommy and how much you hate your job. These words make me wonder….

Okay so recently we took our troop to Waterman’s! They had a blast! There was so much to do there for the kids and awesome food to eat. I have to say the fried green tomatoes were my favorite. The kids enjoyed the rock clime, along with the pony ride and awesome hay ride. This place has something for everyone.  So take your kids and check them out. Trust me this will be someplace you will want to take your kids to for years to come.

Halloween is upon us! With all the haunted things going on in Indiana I would like to know what is going on? So we all know there are strings of over priced haunted houses but what else is there. So shoot me an email (randomkris@gmail.com ) if you  know of some spooktacular activites around you.

Well my daughter is off to school. Weird how time flies. To all those whose babies are now getting educated through Indiana’s twisted system, I tip my hat to your bravery!

So tonight I am taking our Girl Scouts to the Demi Lovato concert at the state fair. I will update and post pictures tomorrow!!

Took a drive with my friend Erin Saturday and we went up to Salem Indiana. As soon as I get the picks up here you will get to see how beautiful the scenery is there. We found an old grave yard with some interesting head stones. All in all it was a fun drive.

Okay as much as I hate Rimes, I love Depp! The fact that he plays a pirate only makes me love him more, but his most recent appearance at Comic Con 2009 made me wish I lived closer to San Diego, Ca. Depp blessed the fans who came to hear about Tim Burtons new Alice in Wonderland movie with a small appearance.  Tim Burton was said to want to introduce the crowd to his “imaginary friend,” as Depp appeared on stage! That is one imaginary friend I would love to have!!! Well as I go and pout to myself about not being there enjoy the picture!

If you know me at all you know I despise LeAnn Rimes! I have never liked her and possible never will! Well she and her hubby have finally announced their split! YEAH! Not that I take pride in her pain but come on she deserves it; right? Well in my mind she does, karma gets you in the long run and she deserves all the Karma she can get!
